Whereas, Resolution 180880 approved NID-6 (Historic Garden Homes) Year 2 operating plan. The plan approved the paying of the assessable portion of the speed humps over a 5 year period; and
Whereas, the Year 2 operating plan allocates $5,790 to the assessable portion for the speed humps; and
Whereas, the total portion that the NID-6 owes is estimated to be $31,700 and will be included in the Department of Public works non-assessable developer account (ST214190103)
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
1st Aldermanic District
N. 25th St. - W. Atkinson Av. to W. Ruby Av.: Installing traffic calming speed humps; (NID-6 Operating Funds ST214190103 Non-assessable developer--$14,600;Non-assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund ST211170156-- $2,000 ) The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $16,600. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.
N. 26th St. - W. Atkinson Av. to W. Ruby Av.:Installing traffic calming speed humps; (NID-6 Operating Funds ST214190103 Non-assessable developer--$11,700;Non-assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund ST211180232 -- $2,500 ) The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $14,200. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.
W. Congress St. - N. Teutonia Av. to N. 25th St.:Installing traffic calming speed humps; (NID-6 Operating Funds ST214190103 Non-assessable developer--$1,700;Non-assessable Reconstruction Paving Fund ST211180233-- $4,400) The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $6,100. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That each year the NID will include in the operating plan funds to pay the assessable portion (ST214190103) to the Department of Public works; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts
