Analysis
This resolution authorizes City officials to issue occupancy permits to The Tradesmen Group allowing them to occupy East Wisconsin Avenue, except for the north traffic lane and the north sidewalk, between North Jackson Street and North Jefferson Street and to occupy North Jefferson Street, except for the west sidewalk, between East Wisconsin Avenue and East Michigan Street for construction activities.
Body
Whereas, The Tradesmen Group has been contracted for construction services at 515 East Wisconsin Avenue; and

Whereas, The Tradesmen Group is requesting permission to occupy the entirety of East Wisconsin Avenue, excluding the north sidewalk and north traffic lane, between North Jackson Street and North Jefferson Street on or around Saturday March 23, 2019 through Sunday, March 24, 2019 or, if there is inclement weather, Saturday March 30, 2019 through Sunday, March 31, 2019, and on or around Saturday, April 20, 2019 through Sunday, April 21, 2019 or, if there is inclement weather, Saturday, April 28, 2019 through Sunday, April 29, 2019; and

Whereas, The Tradesmen Group will be placing a crane in East Wisconsin Avenue in order to lift shoring beams and scaffolding from delivery trucks to erect a scaffold system along the East Wisconsin Avenue face of the Federal Courthouse; and

Whereas, The Tradesmen Group will maintain the north lane of traffic on East Wisconsin Avenue, using flag persons to direct two-way traffic through the area when the crane is not in motion; and

Whereas, The Tradesmen Group is also requesting permission to occupy the entirety of North Jefferson Street, excluding the west sidewalk, between East Wisconsin Avenue and East Michigan Street on or around Saturday, April 6, 2019...
