This resolution authorizes acceptance of Underground Conduit Easement UG-38A at 1027 North Edison Street.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (“City”) requested an easement needed for underground conduit facilities located on 1027 North Edison Street; and
Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”); and
Whereas, RACM is willing to grant Underground Conduit Easement UG-38A to the City giving the City permission to enter the property and to construct, operate, maintain, inspect and repair underground conduit facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by the City’s Department of Public Works (“DPW”), as reflected in the easement document, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to accept Underground Conduit Easement UG-38A, in the form and substance submitted to this File (or in substantially the same form and substance, as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to sign the easement and cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
