Resolution approving a Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee easement to Fred Usinger, Inc. affecting 207 East Florida Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes RACM to convey an easement in the RACM-owned parcel at 207 East Florida Street to Fred Usinger, Inc. for private water facilities.
Body
Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”) owns 207 East Florida Street; and
Whereas, In 1993, RACM conveyed to Fred Usinger, Inc. (“Usinger”) the parcel that Usinger now owns at 303 East Florida Street; and
Whereas, Two private water pipes owned by Usinger traverse the RACM parcel and Usinger wants to document the propriety of those pipes existing on the RACM parcel; and
Whereas, RACM and Usinger negotiated a Private Water Facilities Easement (“Easement”), a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File; and
Whereas, This matter was heard by the RACM Board on February 21, 2019, and the RACM Board approved said Easement, contingent upon City of Milwaukee approval; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that RACM may convey said Easement in the RACM parcel to Usinger, in accordance or substantial accordance with said Easement, which Easement is hereby approved.
