Whereas, Plaintiff Marcus D. White filed a lawsuit against the City of Milwaukee and certain employees thereof, and
Whereas, the City has agreed to settle the lawsuit for the amount of $24,000., and
Whereas, the City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue three City checks totaling the amount of $24,000. $8,000 payable to the Rohde Dales LLP Trust Account, 909 N. 8th Street, Suite 100, Sheboygan, WI 53081-4519; $8,000 payable to The Shellow Group Trust Account, 324 West Vine Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212; and $ 8,000 payable to Rohde Dales LLP, 909 N. 8th Street Suite 100, Sheboygan, WI 53081-4519, in full and final payment of any claims raised in the subject lawsuit, upon receipt of a General Release of Claims, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney; said amount to be charged to Damages and Claims Account-636506 - Fund No. 0001 - Organization 1490 - Program 2631 - Sub Class S118.
