Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:

 

AB-2/SB-4                                          

Relating to: motor vehicle immobilization devices.

 

SB-50                                          

Relating to: body cameras on law enforcement officers.

 

LRB-0902                                          

Relating to: the operation of electronic foot scooters.                     

 

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bill and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition  and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same viz:

Relating to: micro market licensing fees.
