Title
Substitute resolution rescinding reserved commitments and appropriating remaining funds from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund for the purpose of closing the 2018 financial books due to unanticipated shortfalls in current year operating expenses.
Analysis
This resolution also authorizes the transfer from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund of up to $4,350,000 to various departments and account in order to close the 2018 financial books.

Whereas, To facilitate closing of year 2018 financial books, transfers from 2018 Common Contingent Fund are necessary; now therefore, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $3,673,732 from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2018) be transferred to the Department of Public Works Operations Division Operating Expenditure Account (0001-5450-R999-006300) (2018) if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $424,980 from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2018) be transferred to the Social Security Account (0001-2110-R453-006100) (2018), if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $162,258 from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2018) be transferred to the Library Equipment Account (0001-8610-R999-006800) (2018) if necessary; and, be it
Further Resolved, That up to $24,531 from the 2018 Common Council Contingent Fund (0001-9990-C001-006300) (2018) be transferred to the City Attorney Collection Contract Special Purpose Account (0001-1490-S113-006300) (2018), if necessary.
