Analysis

This motion initiates a Site Plan Review Overlay Zone for the property located at 6000 South 6^th Street (13^th Aldermanic District) by directing the Department of City Development to prepare the necessary ordinance and corresponding map.

Body

Whereas, Section 295-307-2 of the Code of Ordinances provides that an amendment to the City’s zoning map, including establishment of an overlay zone, may be initiated by a motion of the Common Council; and

Whereas, Section 295-307-3 of the Code provides that, upon adoption of the Common Council motion, the Department of City Development shall prepare an ordinance and corresponding map for the zoning map amendment; now, therefore

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development shall prepare an ordinance and corresponding map to establish a Site Plan Review Overlay Zone for the property located at 6000 South 6^th Street (13^th Aldermanic District).
