Title

Resolution approving the Year 2019 Operating Plan for Business Improvement District No. 28, located in the 15th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

Section 66.1109(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Business Improvement Districts submit annual Operating Plans for City approval. This resolution approves the Year 2019 Operating Plan for Business Improvement District No. 28 and authorizes assessments on taxable property within said District.

Body

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”) has created Business Improvement Districts (“BIDs”) in the City of Milwaukee and has approved their Initial Operating Plans; and

 

Whereas, Section 66.1109(3)(b), Wisconsin Statutes, requires that Boards of BIDs submit annual Operating Plans to the Common Council for approval; and

 

Whereas, The Board of BID No. 28 (North Avenue Gateway) has submitted its proposed Year 2019 Operating Plan; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Year 2019 Operating Plan for BID No. 28 is approved; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the City Treasurer, City Comptroller, Assessment Commissioner and other affected departments are directed to collect and disburse BID assessments in accordance with said Year 2019 Operating Plan; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That all City officials, departments, boards and commissions are directed to take all actions and provide such assistance, as necessary, to carry out the intent and purpose of this resolution and said approved Year 2019 Operating Plan.
