Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) solicited proposals by Official Notice No. 57900 on October 2 and October 8, 2018 for Auditing Services for the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; and

WHEREAS, six proposals were received by the deadline of 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018; and

WHEREAS, after careful review of the proposals received, staff of the HACM recommends that Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP submitted the most responsive proposal and is the best qualified to undertake such Auditing Services for the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, for Auditing Services for the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee, in an amount not to exceed $119, 600 for the first year, with the option to extend for an additional four-one year terms upon mutual consent of both parties (all extension amounts will not exceed $135,000); and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from COCC, LIPH, Section 8 and VETS Program; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the HACM be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
