Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Health Department, Municipal Court, Department of Neighborhood Services, Police Department
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Lead Poisoning Control Program (CDBG)”, add three positions of “Lead Risk Assessors II (TT)”.
Under “Municipal Court, Management and Administration”, delete one position of “Legal Office Assistant IV”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 25, 2018 - December 2, 2018):
Under “Department of Neighborhood Services”, create a new section entitled “Fire Protection Section.”
Under “Electrical Inspection Section”, delete one position of “Fire Protection Engineer III”.
Under “Fire Protection Section”, add one position of “Fire Protection Engineer Supervisor (X)”, add one position of “Fire Protection Engineer III”, add four positions of “Sprinkler Construction Inspector (X)”, and add one position of “Office Assistant III”.
Under “Plumbing Inspection Section”, delete one position of “Plumbing Inspection Supervisor (X)”, delete four positions of “Sprinkler Construction Inspector (X)”, and delete one position of “Office Assistant III”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 26, 2018 - December 16, 2018):
Under “Police Department, Intelligence Fusion Center”, add one position of “Intelligence Analyst”.
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 25, 2018 (December 2, 2018).
Part 6. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 26, 2018 (December 16, 2018).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
