Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north-easterly side of West Hopkins Street from a point 225 feet south-easterly of the east curb line of North 28th Street to North 27th Street at any time”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from the west curb line on North 27th Street to a point 90 feet west thereof, at any time”
“On the southwesterly side of West Hopkins Street from a point 100 feet north of the north curb line of West Vienna Avenue extended to a point 40 feet north thereof, at any time”
“On West Hopkins Street from West Hopkins Street to West Vienna Avenue from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from a point 560 feet northwest of North 27th Street to a point 365 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the south side of West Hopkins Street from a point 1,290 feet northwest of North 27th Street to a point 110 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from a point 1,665 feet further northwest of North 27th Street to a point 100 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from a point 1,345 feet northwest of North 27th Street to a point 105 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from a point 1,020 feet northwest of North 27th Street to a point 220 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the north side of West Hopkins Street from a point 220 feet northwest of North 27th Street to a point 270 feet further northwest thereof at any time”
“On the south side of West Hopkins Street from a point 110 feet southeast of North 27th Street to a point 30 feet further southeast thereof at any time”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Cleveland Avenue from a point 110 feet east of south 31st Street to a point 20 feet east thereof
On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
On the south side of East St Paul Avenue from North Water Street to North Broadway during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Part 3. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
On the south side of East St Paul Avenue from North Water Street to North Broadway during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Part 4. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by striking the following:
“On North Milwaukee Street from East Juneau Avenue to East Wells Street”
Part 5. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On North Milwaukee Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Juneau Avenue
Part 6. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South 7th Street from West Arthur Avenue to West Harrison Avenue
On South 26th Street from West Rogers Street to West Becher Street
