Minutes note: Director Hurtado asked does Travaux, Inc. have in their contracts a provision that allows for Termination for Convenience. Mr. Theissen will look into it and forward those contracts and the language to the Board. Gabriel DeVougas, HACM Section 3 Coordinator, informed the Board of the EBE/Section 3 participation. Cardinal Fabricating Corporation is not a certified participant, however they have agreed to other economics efforts and will be making a contribution to the Section 3 fund.

WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 57898 during the period August 17, 2018 through September 13, 2018 for Structural Steel Framing for Multi-Family Apartment Building 2.3 at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, one sealed bid was received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on September 13, 2018; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bid was received and publicly opened on September 13, 2018, during which bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, Cardinal Fabricating Corp., the lowest bidder and a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $157,000.00, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Cardinal Fabricating Corp. for Structural Steel Framing for Multi-Family Apartment Building 2.3 at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Westlawn Renaissance III LLC; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors Travaux Inc.; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
