Resolution authorizing the development of a Succession Plan Policy that will be incorporated into the HACM Employee Handbook
Analysis
Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee consistently strives to employ strategic methods to protect the organization from unforeseen variables that could potentially alter operations in a negative manner; and
WHEREAS, HACM recognizes its need to incorporate a method to provide the organization with a continued supply of qualified candidates for key roles; and
WHEREAS, HACM recognizes it need to assure transfer of knowledge which seeks to organize, create, capture or distribute knowledge and ensure its availability for future users; and
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the HACM Succession Planning Policy is hereby approved; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director authorize the appropriate staff to take all action necessary to begin implementation of the HACM Succession Planning Policy.
