TITLE:
Resolution authorizing the Milwaukee Police Department to enter into an extension to the Law Enforcement and Security Services Agreement with the Forest County Potawatomi Community.
ANALYSIS
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Police Department to enter into an extension to the overtime Agreement with the Forest County Potawatomi Community. This extension will extend the agreement through September 30, 2019, in the amount of $324,000.
BODY:
Whereas, The term of the current agreement will expire on September 30, 2018; and
Whereas, The parties desire to extend the term of the agreement for an additional one-year term ending September 30, 2019 in the amount of $324,000; and
Whereas, The Police Department may enter into agreements exceeding $50,000 that have been approved by the Chief of Police as indicated in Section 312-26, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now therefore be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached agreement extension with the Forest County Potawatomi Community, is authorized, and the Police Department shall accept these funds without further approval.
