Analysis

This resolution transfers $40,000 from the Capital Improvements-Advance Planning Fund account into a subaccount to provide GIS-funded activities, funding of graduate students, design charrettes and other miscellaneous expenses as the need arises.

Body

Whereas, The Department of City Development (“DCD”) continues work on land use and zoning analysis, comprehensive and strategic planning and GIS activities; and

Whereas, The current unencumbered balance in the Planning Studies-Economic Development Subaccount is insufficient to cover anticipated 2018 needs; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is directed to transfer the amount of $40,000 from the Capital Improvements-Advance Planning Fund, Account No. UR01218000A, to Account No. UR01211100 to be used by DCD, as the need may arise, to support comprehensive and strategic planning activities; and, be it

Further Resolved, That DCD is authorized to enter into such contracts and agreements, as necessary, to accomplish the intent and purpose of this resolution.
