This resolution authorizes payment of the claim of Myra Flynn in the amount of $72,000.

Body

Whereas, the claimant, Myra Flynn, C.I. File No. 1030-2018-171, has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $187,297.51; and

Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim of Myra Flynn in the amount of $72,000; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay these claims; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $72,000.00, payable to the order of Sperling Law Offices LLC Trust Account, c/o Attorney Michael C. Demo, Sperling Law Offices LLC, 100 E. Wisconsin Avenue, #1020, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53202, in full and final payment of these claims, upon receipt of releases of claims, approved as to form and execution by the City attorney; said amounts to be charged to (DA)636506-0001-1490-2631-S118.
