Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following position on the item hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby opposes the inclusion of joint and several liability in the state budget and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to oppose such item; and it also instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to seek an exemption for local government on this item.
