The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $1,351,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $1,607,000.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and

Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

2nd, 5th and 9th Aldermanic Districts

N. 92nd St./N. 91st St. - W. Capitol Dr. to W. Good Hope Rd. (SM493090101) File Number 081268: Converting grass medians into bioretention facilities. (Nonassessable Sewer Fund -- $750,000 TSS Reduction Fund). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $780,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2009 construction season.

12th Aldermanic District

S. 14th St. - W. Hayes Ave. to W. Harrison Ave. (SM495070027) File Number 081392: Relay combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $35,000 Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $241,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2009 construction season.
