A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 offices and positions in the City Service.

This substitute ordinance changes the positions in the following departments:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department”, amend footnotes “(E)”, “(H)”, and “(Q)” to read as follows:
“(E) To expire 09/30/19 unless the Family Foundations Comprehensive Home Visiting Grant is extended. Partially funds one Men’s Health Manager.”
“(H) To expire 09/30/19 unless the Recast Milwaukee Project Grant is extended. Also partially funds one Violence Prevention Manager.”
“(Q) To expire 09/30/19 unless the FIT Families (WIC) from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services is extended.”
Under “Family and Community Health Services Division, Empowering Families of Milwaukee Program (E)”, delete three positions of “Public Health Nurse 3 (X)(G)(O)”, delete one position of “Public Health Social Worker (X)(E)”, and add two positions of “Public Health Nurse 3 (X)(G)(E)”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 20, 2018 - September 23, 2018):
Under “Library, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Administrative Services Division”, delete one position of “Business Analyst” and add one position of “Research and Policy Analyst”.
Under “Department of Public Works - Parking Fund, Parking Enforcement/Information Desk”, delete four positions of “Lead Parking Checker”, add four positions of “Lead Parking Enforcement Officer”, delete fifty-eight positions of “Parking Checker”, and add fifty-eight positions of “Parking Enforcement Officer”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 22, 2018 - October 22, 2018):
Under “Department of Public Works - Operations Division, Sanitation Section, Field Operations”, delete one position of “Cart Maintenance Technician”, delete one position of “Sanitation Yard Supervisor”, add one position of “Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor”, and add one position of “Equipment Mechanic IV”.
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 20, 2018 (September 23, 2018).
Part 6. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 22, 2018 (October 21, 2018).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
