Resolution approving contracts to various firms for architectural, engineering and related services for development projects at various sites

Body
WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed proposals by Official Notice Number 57850, Request for Qualifications, for Architectural, Engineering, and Related Services for Development Projects at Various Sites during the period March 5, 2018 through March 26, 2018; and
WHEREAS, as part of the solicitation, the respondents agreed that, upon service of contract, they would follow the prescribed requirements for EBE/WDBE and Section 3; and
WHEREAS, sixteen sealed proposals were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on March, 26, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the sealed proposals were received and recorded on March 26, 2018 in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and
WHEREAS, the proposals were evaluated per the criteria stated in the solicitation and ranked; and
WHEREAS, for each discipline (type of service), the highest ranked firms reviewed the anticipated work and submitted a schedule of proposed fees, their best and final offers; and
WHEREAS, an award of 32 contracts in the total amount of $9,460,000 is recommended for the following firms, disciplines, and not-to-exceed dollar amounts for services on an as-needed basis; now therefore be it

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposals of and entering into contracts with the firms and for the amounts indicated above for Architectural, Engineering, and Related Services for Development Projects at Various Sites; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from various sources as needed and appropriate for each project; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. and the officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
