Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee solicited bids by publication of Official Notice No. 57855 on May 18, 2018; and
WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received and publically opened on May 31, 2018 in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and
WHEREAS, Hero Plumbing, LLC submitted the low bid of $135.00 per worker, per hour for such work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the bid of Hero Plumbing, LLC be and hereby is accepted and the contract awarded thereto for annual plumbing maintenance at various housing developments for a one year period with an option to renew for four additional one-year terms; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract is issued for an amount not-to-exceed amount of $156,701.00; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority are hereby authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that any and all acts previously performed, relative thereto, by the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
