Analysis

This resolution grants the appeal of the Historic Preservation Commission’s denial of a certificate of appropriateness for the property located at 3123-3125 North Sherman Blvd.

Body

Whereas, The property owners of 3123-3125 N. Sherman Blvd, Paul and Carol Rubitsky, appealed the denial of a certificate of appropriateness for their property related to applying aluminum trim to the soffits and eaves at the property; and

 

Whereas, The Rubitskys appealed this denial to the Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee; and

 

Whereas, The Committee heard from the property owners and staff of the Historic Preservation Commission at its meeting on April 8, 2009; and

 

Whereas, The Committee, by a vote of 4 to 1, granted the appeal of the denial by the Historic Preservation Commission of the certificate of appropriateness; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appeal of the denial by the Historic Preservation Commission of a certificate of appropriateness for the property located at 3123-3125 North Sherman Blvd. has been granted.
