Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

Health Department, Police Department

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division”, delete the section entitled “TB, CD, & IMMS Division” and replace with the section entitled “TB, CD, & IMMS Program”.

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 10, 2018 - May 6, 2018):

Under “Police Department, Assigned As Needed Within Decision Unit”, add fifteen positions of “Police Services Specialist - Investigator (X)” and add footnote “(X)” to read:

“(X)                     Private auto allowance may be paid pursuant to Section 350-183 of the Milwaukee Code.”

Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

Part 4.  The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 10, 2018 (May 6, 2018).

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
