HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
| ADOPTED
Minutes note: Mr. Tim Askin said the applicant says the north wall of the duplex is failing. This is the same duplex where brick had been earlier removed on the south wall and replaced with cultured stone. The porch was re-built and used up all the salvaged brick. Work on the south wall was done with a COA. The applicant wants to rebuild a portion of the north wall. When the bricks are clean, they do appear to be similar in color. Ms. Hatala also suggested staining the new brick to match the current brick since the owner doesn't want to wash the existing brick.
Ms. Keating Kahn moved the use the brick and that it be dyed to match the existing brick and salvage as much as possible and approval contingent on dying the brick on the south side and the salvaged brick be used as at the lowest level possible. Seconded by Ms. Peltz.
