Analysis
This resolution approves an Internship Site Agreement between the City of Milwaukee (City Clerk’s Office) and Marquette University to provide practical learning and professional experience for Marquette University students in the Klinger College of Arts and Sciences.
The Agreement is for a term of one year, beginning January 1, 2018 and ending on December 31, 2018, and may be renewed for subsequent one-year terms.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (City Clerk’s Office) and Marquette University desire to enter into an Internship Site Agreement to provide practical learning and professional experience for Marquette University students in the Klinger College of Arts and Sciences and establish an internship relationship; and
Whereas, The parties have negotiated an Internship Site Agreement, a copy of which is attached to this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the attached Internship Site Agreement between the City of Milwaukee and Marquette University is approved; and be it,
Further Resolved, That the appropriate City officials are directed to enter into this Agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee.
