Analysis
This resolution authorizes the denial of Wis. Stat. § 74.37 claims filed with the City of
Milwaukee.
Body
Whereas, On or before January 31, 2009, the claimants filed with the City Clerk claims pursuant
to Wis. Stat. § 74.37; and
Whereas, The claimants and their claims are listed on Attachment A to this resolution; and
Whereas, The claimants allege that there was a levy and collection of excessive tax assessed
against their property; and
Whereas, The Assessor has investigated the claims and deemed the collection of taxes lawful and
not excessive; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Wis. Stat. § 74.37 claims
filed with the City of Milwaukee be denied.
