Title
Resolution relative to the acceptance and funding of the 2018 Family Planning Grant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Health Department to accept and fund the 2018 Family Planning Grant project from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services in the amount of $328,000. The purpose of the project is provide comprehensive women’s health family planning services to men and women throughout the year at the Keenan and Southside Health Centers.

Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for comprehensive health family planning services; and

Whereas, The operation of this grant project from 01/01/18 to 12/31/18 would cost $328,000 entirely provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services is authorized and the Health Department shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Milwaukee Code of Ordinances Section 304-81; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:

1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2018 Special Revenue-Grant and Aid Projects fund the following amounts for the program titled 2018 Family Planning Grant:
