Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
Election Commission, Employes’ Retirement System, Department of Neighborhood Services, Department of Public Works
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 1HX, remove the title “ERS Functional Applications Manager (1)” and
footnote “(1)” in its entirety.
Under Pay Range 1IX, amend the title “ERS Applications Manager (6)” to read “ERS Applications Development Manager (6)”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2018 - December 31, 2017):
Under Pay Range 1FX, delete the title “Election Services Manager”.
Under Pay Range 1HX, add the title “Election Services Manager”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 2IX, remove the title “ERS Systems Administrator (4)” and footnote “(4)” in its entirety.
Part 4. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2018 - December 31, 2017):
Under Pay Range 2DN, delete the title “Election Services Specialist (14)”.
Under Pay Range 2FN, add the title “Election Services Office Administrator”.
Under Pay Range 2GN, add the title “Election Services Administrator”.
Part 5. Part 1, Section 5 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2018 - December 31, 2017):
Under Pay Range 5JN, add the title “Election Services Field Coordinator”.
Part 6. Part 1, Section 7 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 7HN, remove footnote “(12)” in its entirety and remove designation “(12)” from the title “Urban Forestry Specialist (12) (13)”.
Part 7. Part 1, Section 8 of ordinance File Number 170680 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 8DN, amend footnote “(10)” to read:
“(10) The following employees to be paid the rate of $1,598.64 biweekly: Michael Brahm and James Kendzierski.”
Part 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 9. The provisions of Parts 2, 4 and 5 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2018 (December 31, 2017).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 10. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
