WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) authorized and approved the entering into of a contract between Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and the Authority for auditing services for the year ended December 31, 2013 by adoption of Resolution No. 12575 on October 9, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Article 3.2(1) of the contract allows for options to renew for four additional one-year terms and Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP has agreed to renew for an additional year; and

WHEREAS, staff of the Authority has determined that the hourly rates and all-inclusive fees reflected in the Contractor’s proposal for the 2017 audit are reasonable; and

WHEREAS, the staff of the Authority desires to exercise the 4th and final option to renew the contract with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP for the term of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 to perform the 2017 audit in the amount of $140,700.00 with an increase in the hourly rates accordingly;
