Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Authority) solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 57828 during the period November 10, 2017 through December 6, 2017 for Storm Water Structures at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, six sealed bids were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CST) on December 6, 2017; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bids were received and publicly opened on December 6, 2017, during which bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, Bohmann & Vick Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $1,695,000.00, therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Bohmann & Vick Inc. for Storm Water Structures at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
