Whereas, The owner of 135 W. Reservoir Ave., Tanya Alvarez, on February 10, 2009 appealed the Historic Preservation Commission’s action denying a certificate of appropriateness for installation of a replacement door and panels; and
Whereas, The Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee heard from staff of the Historic Preservation Commission and Ms. Alvarez at its meeting on February 24, 2009; and
Whereas, The Committee unanimously voted to deny the appeal of the Historic Preservation Commission’s action denying the installment of a replacement door and panels at 135 W. Reservoir Avenue; and
Whereas, This denial means that the owner shall work with the Historic Preservation Commission to reach a mutually agreeable solution related to the replacement doors and panels; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appeal of the Historic Preservation Commission’s action denying the installment of replacement door and panels at 135 W. Reservoir Avenue is denied.
