Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2009 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

Boards and Commissions, Library and Police Department

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 080521 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Salary Grade 015, delete the title “Neighborhood Libraries and Community Partnerships Director” and add the title “Deputy Library Director-Public Services.”

 

Part 2. Section 18 of ordinance File Number 080521 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2009 - December 28, 2008):

 

Delete the current rates of pay for Pay Ranges 801, 804, 808, 812 and 813 and substitute therefore the following:

Part 3. Part II, Section 8 of ordinance File Number 080521 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Delete the "Housing Trust Fund Advisory Board."

 

Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 5. The provisions of Section 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2009 (December 28, 2008).

 

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
