Body
Whereas, The City Attorney, the Fire Chief and the private ambulance service providers have negotiated a mutually acceptable agreement to provide emergency, basic life support medical services within the city; and
Whereas, This agreement is in the best interests of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Emergency Medical Services agreements be approved between the City of Milwaukee and each private ambulance service provider using the attached file as a template for each agreement; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the proper City officials are directed to execute these agreements on behalf of the City.
