This resolution authorizes acceptance of Sewer Easement Agreement SE-2866 located approximately 275’ north of Selig Drive (private) between South 44th Street and the Menomonee River, in the 8th Aldermanic District.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (“City”) requested an easement needed for sewer facilities located approximately 275’ north of Selig Drive (private) between South 44th Street and the Menomonee River; and
Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by the State of Wisconsin and leased to The Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District; and
Whereas, The land-owner is willing to grant Sewer Easement Agreement SE-2866 to the City giving the City permission to enter the property to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct, replace, and relocate, as City deems necessary, the storm sewer and related facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by the City’s Department of Public Works, as reflected in the easement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to sign the Sewer Easement Agreement SE-2866 in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
