Title

Resolution accepting the transfer of properties at the former Northridge Mall from PNR 2 LLC and TDC Milwaukee, LLC, in the 9th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the City of Milwaukee to accept privately owned properties at the former Northridge Mall.

Body

Whereas, PNR 2 LLC owns 8919 North Granville Station Road, 8933 North Granville Station Road, 8955 North Granville Station Road and 8977 North Granville Station Road (the “Property”); and

 

Whereas, TDC Milwaukee, LLC owns 8180 West Brown Deer Road and 9233 North 76th Street (the “Ring Roads”); and

 

Whereas, PNR 2 LLC and TDC Milwaukee, LLC wish to transfer the Property and Ring Roads to the City of Milwaukee (“City”); and

 

Whereas, The City desires to spur private investment in the former Northridge Mall area, has been maintaining the Ring Roads since 2013 and wishes to accept the Property and Ring Roads to further advance redevelopment of the area; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City is authorized to accept the Property and Ring Roads; and, be it

 

Further Resolved, That the Commissioner of the Department of City Development, or designee, is authorized to execute all necessary documents to effectuate the intent of this resolution, including accepting any additional property owned by PNR 2 LLC and TDC Milwaukee, LLC at the former Northridge Mall under a different address.
