Title

Analysis

This resolution authorizes City officials to issue an occupancy permit to CD Smith allowing them to occupy the eastern half of the roadway and eastern sidewalk of North 6^th Street between West McKinley Avenue and West Juneau Avenue.

Body

Whereas, CD Smith has been contracted for construction services of the Park 7 Lofts located on North 6^th Street between West McKinley Avenue and West Juneau Avenue; and

Whereas, CD Smith has requested to occupy the eastern half of the roadway and eastern sidewalk of North 6^th Street between West McKinley Avenue and West Juneau Avenue beginning October 21, 2017 through October 28, 2018; and

Whereas, CD Smith will be responsible to contact all affected property owners and businesses informing them of the closure and the affected dates; and

Whereas, The Commissioner of Public Works may approve temporary occupancy of up to one-third of the width of the right of way while temporary use beyond that point must be approved by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the appropriate City officials are hereby authorized to issue an occupancy permit to CD Smith allowing them to occupy the eastern half of the roadway and eastern sidewalk of North 6^th Street between West McKinley Avenue and West Juneau Avenue beginning October 21, 2017 through October 28, 2018.
