Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Astor Street from East Ogden Avenue to a point 60 feet south thereof at any time”

“On the east side of North Hackett Avenue from East Linwood Avenue to East Kenwood Boulevard from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the east side of North Water Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Jackson Street from 3:30 to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday and where no parking is in effect”

“On the east side of South 16^th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Lapham Boulevard from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the west side of South 16^th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Lapham Boulevard from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Hackett Avenue from East Linwood Avenue to East Kenwood Boulevard from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday

In the alley bounded by West Juneau Avenue, West McKinley Avenue, North 21^st Street and North 22^nd Street

On the east side of North Water Street from a point 450 feet north of East Pleasant Street to a point 35 feet north thereof

On the east side of North 27^th Street from a point 180 feet north of West Garfield Avenue to a point 185 feet north of West Meinecke Avenue

On the west side of North 27^th Street from West Garfield Avenue to a point 150 feet north of West Meinecke Avenue

On the west side of North 100^th Street from a point 105 feet north of West Marion Street to a point 60 feet north thereof

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of North Hackett Avenue from East Linnwood Avenue to East Kenwood Boulevard from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on even calendar days, except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the west side of North Hackett Avenue from East Linnwood Avenue to East Kenwood Boulevard from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on odd calendar days, except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the west side of North 27^th Street from West North Avenue south to the east/west alley from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Hackett Avenue from East Linnwood Avenue to East Kenwood Boulevard from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Except Saturday, Sunday and Permit”
