Resolution amending Common Council File No. 170310 that approved the Land Disposition Report for 19 properties in the North 5th Street-West Vine Street Redevelopment Project Area for sale to Vangard Group, LLC, for residential development, in the 6th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution permits the Redevelopment Authority to convey 19 properties in the North 5th Street-West Vine Street Redevelopment Project Area for sale to Vangard Group, LLC, for residential development according to the conditions in the amended Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, On June 20, 2017, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee approved a Land Disposition Report that authorized the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”) to convey 19 properties in three phases for residential development; and
Whereas, The Land Disposition Report omitted that part of 1743 North 5th Street will be conveyed for the development of CityPlace One; and
Whereas, On September 21, 2017, RACM approved an amended Land Disposition Report, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, that includes conveyance of part of 1743 North 5th Street for development of CityPlace One and the remaining part of 1743 North 5th Street for development of CityPlace Two; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File No. 170310 and its Land Disposition Report is amended, as stated and found herein, and that the amended Land Disposition Report is approved; and, be it
Further Resolved, That per Wisconsin Statutes, Section 66.1333(9)(a)1.d., the amended Land Disposition Report and the RACM conveyance to Vangard Group, LLC is approved, in accordance therewith, together with such further actions, as may be required, to effectuate this resolution and the amended Land Disposition Report.
