Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
1st Aldermanic District
Area bounded by W. Congress St. to W. Hope Ave. and N. 27th St. to the Soo Line Railroad #2 (SM495150027) File Number 161154: Installing new storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $1,000,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $4,000,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.

West Good Hope Road Bioswales: W. Good Hope Rd. - N. 91st St. to N. 107th St. (SM499160109) File Number 151848: (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $5,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $300,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.

This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.
2017 Speed hump projects (ST211170215): Engineering and signage installation for speed humps - Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund --$100,000. This work is anticipated to be completed during the 2017 construction season.
2018 Speed hump projects (ST211180150): Engineering and signage installation for speed humps - Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $200,000. This work is anticipated to be completed during the 2018 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
