WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee solicited proposals by publication of Official Notice No. 57796 on May 22, 2017, for Factory-Built Housing Units for Westlawn Gardens Scattered Sites; and

WHEREAS, one proposal was received by the deadline of 2:00 p.m. (CDST) on June 19, 2017; and

WHEREAS, after careful review of the bid received, staff of the Housing Authority recommend two contracts be awarded to Terrace Homes Retail LLC: a contract not-to-exceed $3,760,000 for the purchase of the factory-built housing units (a commodity) and a separate contract not-to-exceed $940,000 for necessary site work; and now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they be and hereby authorize entering into two contracts with Terrace Homes Retail LLC totaling not-to-exceed $4,700,000; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contracts for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Housing Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and the Secretary Executive Director of the Authority, be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
