WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee received FY 2017 Capital Fund Program Grants, including the Replacement Housing Factor Fund grants, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and

WHEREAS, the amount of the FY 2017 Capital Fund Formula Grant is $6,071,406; and

WHEREAS, the Capital Fund Grants includes the 1st Increment Replacement Housing Factor Fund Grant #WI39R00250117 in the amount of $105,722 and the 2nd Increment Replacement Housing Fund grant #WI39R00250217 in the amount of $378,562; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing had been conducted on August 10, 2016 for the HACM’s Agency Plan, proposed 2017 Annual Statement and Capital Fund Five Year Action Plan; and

WHEREAS, the 2017 Annual Statement for the Capital Fund Formula grant was updated to reflect the actual amount of funds received from HUD and adjust the line items accordingly; however, none of the proposed changes are considered to be a significant amendment to the approved Annual or Capital Fund Five Year Action Plan; and

WHEREAS, the Secretary-Executive Director recommends that HACM’s Annual Statements be approved and transmitted to HUD along with the Five Year Action Plan that was previously submitted and approved by HUD by the due date; and

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they approve HACM’s FY 2017 Capital Fund Annual Statements, which include 1st and 2nd Increment Replacement Housing Fund Program grants; now, therefore, be it
