Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Wisconsin Avenue at any time”

“On the west side of North 27^th Street from a point 530 feet south of the south curb line of West Silver Spring Drive to a point 210 feet further south thereof at any time”

“On the east side of North Hawley Road from West Notre Dame Court to West Washington Boulevard from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday except where no parking is in effect”

“On the west side of North Hawley Road from West Vliet Street to West Notre Dame Court from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM except Saturday and Sunday except where no parking is in effect”

“On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from a point 180 feet east of the east curb line of North 25^th Street to North 27^th Street at any time”

“On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from North 24^th Street to North 25^th at any time”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Michigan Street to East Wisconsin Avenue

On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Michigan Street to a point 100 feet south

On the west side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street

On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from North 25^th Street to North 27^th Street

On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from West Greves Street to a point 80 feet west

On the south side of West National Avenue from a point 300 feet east of South 9^th Street to a point 30 feet east

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday

Part 5.  Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On South 5^th Street from West Bruce Street to West Mineral Street”

Part 6.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of East Bradford Avenue from North Newhall Street to North Oakland Avenue”

“On the west side of South 18^th Street from West Windlake Avenue to West Lincoln Avenue”

Part 7.  Section 101-24-1-d of the Code relating to Tow-away Zones is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Wisconsin Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday”

Part 8.  Section 101-24-1-d of the Code relating to Tow-away Zones is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Michigan Street to East Wisconsin Avenue from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

On the west side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 9.  Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:

On South 9^th Street from West Manitoba Street to West Oklahoma Avenue

Part 10.  Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street from East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 11.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Van Buren Street from East Clybourn Street to East Michigan Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
