Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2017 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

Department of Administration - Information and Technology Management Division, Library, Police Department, Department of Public Works

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 160596 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Pay Range 1IX, correct the title “System Integration Manager (2)” to “Systems Integration Manager (2)”.

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 160596 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Pay Range 2BN, correct the title “Library Associate (5)” to “Librarian Associate (5)”.

 

Under Pay Range 2GX, add designation “(8)” to the title “IT Project Coordinator” with the footnote to read as follows:

 

“(8)                     Recruitment is at $2,183.35 ($56,767.10)”.

 

Under Pay Range 2LX, add the title “Information Systems Manager - Milwaukee Police Department”.

 

Part 3.  Part 1, Section 3 of ordinance File Number 160596 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Pay Range 3LN, add designation “(9)” to the title “Public Works Inspector II” with the footnote to read as follows:

 

“(9)                     Recruitment is at $1,731.26 ($45,012.76)”.

 

Part 4.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
