Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the

City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of South Lenox Street from a point 415 feet north of East Lincoln Avenue to a point 75 feet north thereof”

“On South 43^rd Street from West Lincoln Avenue to a point 800 feet south thereof at any time”

“On South 43^rd Street from a point 120 feet south West Cleveland Avenue to a point 300 feet north of West Cleveland Avenue at any time”

“On the east side of South 43^rd Street from a point 500 feet south of the center line of West Lincoln Avenue to a point 500 feet south thereof at any time”

“On the south side of West Pierce Street from South 35^th Street to South 37^th Street”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South Lenox Street from East Lincoln Avenue to a point 495 feet north from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM

On the east side of South 43^rd Street from West Lincoln Avenue to a point 160 feet south of West Cleveland Avenue

On the west side of South 43^rd Street from West Lincoln Avenue to a point 800 feet south

On the west side of South 43^rd Street from a point 100 feet north of West Kinnickinnic River Parkway to a point 160 feet south of West Cleveland Avenue

On the south side of West Pierce Street from South 35^th Street to a point 180 feet west

On the east side of South Howell Avenue to a point 45 feet south

On the west side of South Howell Avenue to a point 45 feet north

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On North Cambridge Avenue between East Irving and East Windsor Places”

“On the east side of North Cambridge Avenue from East Kane Place to East Irving Place”

“On the west side of North Cambridge Avenue from East Kane Place to East Irving Place”

“On the east side of North 58^th Street between West North and West Meinecke Avenues” 

“On the east side of North 65^th Street from West Melvina Street to West Capitol Drive”
