This resolution authorizes payment of the claim of Nancy Smith in the amount of $14,575.

Body

Whereas, The claimant, Nancy Smith, C.I. File No. 1048-2016-2414, has filed a claim against the City of Milwaukee in the amount of $14,575; and

Whereas, The City has agreed to settle the claim in the amount of $14,575; and

Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this claim; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that proper city officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $14,575, payable to the order of Nancy Smith, 3666 South Lenox Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207, in full and final payment of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claim, approved as to form and execution by the City attorney; said amount to be charged to Water Department Account-636506 - Fund No. 0410 - Organization 6411 - Program 2631 - Sub Class R643.
