Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2017 offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
Employees’ Retirement System, Health Department

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 160594 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under “Employees’ Retirement System, Information Systems”, add one position of “ERS Server Administrator”, add one position of “Sr. Database Administrator”, and add one position of “Sr. Java Developer”.

Under “Health Department”, delete one position of “Public Health Research and Policy Director (X)(Y)(NN)”, add one position of “Public Health Planning and Policy Director (X)(Y)(NN)”, add footnote designation “(X)” to one position of “Administrative Assistant IV”, and amend the following footnotes to read as follows:

“(A) To expire 06/30/18 unless the CDC Public Health Preparedness Grant is extended.”

“(P) To expire 06-30-18 unless the Bioterrorism Focus CRI Grant is extended.”

“(CC) To expire 12/31/17 unless the Climate Change and Public Health Learning Collaborative for Urban Health Departments Grant from the Center for Climate Change & Health.”

“(JJ) To expire 6/30/18 unless the Wisconsin Well Woman Program Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin - Department of Health Services, is extended.”

“(OO) To expire 8/31/18 unless the Homicide Review Training and Technical Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of Justice - Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) is extended.”

“(EEE) To expire 06/30/18 unless the Healthy Birth Outcomes Grant from United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County is extended.”
