Body
WHEREAS, The Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee owns and manages approximately 3,560 units of low-rent public housing under the terms of an Annual Contributions Contract with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) promotes self-sufficiency and homeownership opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the property at 8535 W. Ruby Ave. is a 3 bedroom single-family home located in the 5th Aldermanic District. This was a City of Milwaukee foreclosed property that was rehabbed under the Market Rate Program.
WHEREAS, the Secretary-Executive Director recommends that the offer from Santasha Curtis to purchase 8535 W. Ruby Ave. in the amount of $86,000 be accepted; and
RESOLVED, by the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the offer from Santasha Curtis, to purchase 8535 W. Ruby Ave. in the amount of $86,000 is hereby accepted; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary-Executive Director is hereby authorized to take whatever action is necessary to complete the sale of this property.
