Body

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee solicited bids by publication of Official Notice No. 57793 on April 7, 2017, and April 10, 2017, for HVAC Upgrades at Southlawn Housing Development; and

 

WHEREAS, one proposal was received by the deadline of 2:00 pm (CDST) on April 25, 2017; and

 

WHEREAS, the sealed bid was publicly opened on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, during which bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state and federal regulations; and

 

WHEREAS, Affordable Action Joint Venture, submitted the lowest, responsive and responsible, bid in the amount of $2,511,393.54; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Affordable Action Joint Venture for HVAC Upgrades at Southlawn Housing Development; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Authority be and are hereby authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Authority; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of the above is contingent upon receiving approval of such governmental units as required, if any; and, be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that any and all acts previously performed, relative to this matter, by the Commissioners and Secretary-Executive Director of the Authority be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
