He is commonly awoken by noise on Friday and Saturday nights when he is home. Scott Katafias - 1704 and 1706 W. National Ave. - he basically stays inside once he comes home knowing he want to go deal with club patrons and deal with club patrons driving quickly trying to catch all the lights. Neighborhood supporters: Les Johns- 230 E. Oklahoma Ave.- was hired by the applicant to do a survey of the neighborhood to determine what the neighbors think of the business and to see what he can do to improve the business. He says that additional parking in a few locations has been arranged for the business and there is increased security, including pat-downs and a mandatory coat-check. Delores King- 714 S. Bettinger Ct.- says that she does not hear any noise from the club on the weekends even though she lives next door. She is not opposed to the license. She also owns a vacant lot near the business and says that patrons from the club do not park there. Sirvictor Bryant- 3134 N. 11th St. - is a patron of the establishment. He feels safe in the establishment and is in support of the license. David Lindsey, DJ at Club International, says that he plays Top 40 music at the establishment, not rap. He says that the establishment is run well. Felicia Dukes- 5912 W. Galena St.- says she feels safe at the club and is in support of the licenses. Deanna Silvas - 1221 W. Madison St. - she says that she has never had a problem with any of the patrons from the club bothering her when she walks home from work at a late hour. Fabian Harris -5044 N. 39th St. - says that he has not had any problems at the club. Shawanda Triblett- 1210 W. North Ave., #205 - is a patron at the club and has had no problems at the club. Susan Domena - 1018 S. 29th St. - is a patron of the club and has never had any problems. Victor Huyke - 3206 W. National Ave. - publisher of El Conquistador Latino Newspaper, is in support of the license and says that the business provides jobs in the community. Ald. Kovac moves to make a letter of support from Mr. Huyke part of the record. Prevailed 5-0. Montaine Freeman - 5847 N. 92nd St. - is a patron of the club and is in support of the license. Victor Tovar, Jr. - 3211 W. Scott St. - is a patron of the club and is in support of the license. Melvin Crespo - 6655 N. Sidney Place - supervisor for Central Protective Services who oversees the security at the club. He says that there is a minimum of eight officers working at the club. He also contradicted the earlier testimony of Mr. Grosz. Raja Billai -8315 Flagstone Dr., Madison, WI - comes into Milwaukee to patronize the club and is in support of the license. The chair acknowledged that there were additional supporters in the audience that did not want to testify. Capt. Gaglione says that the applicant did not start cooperating with the police until after a year of incidents had occurred. He also says that there is a concern about former gang members being used as security guards inside the club. Ald. Witkowiak at the table. He says that the business has evolved from a buffet restaurant to a full club. He also says that complaints have come into his office, but he has never personally called the police to investigate the establishment. Ald.
